Purpose of the Study

A team of researchers at the Technical University of Munich is conducting this research. We are inviting you to participate in this research project to better understand how information about sustainable travel should be visualized.

Procedures

The procedures involve exploring this website and then completing an online questionnaire. We anticipate that this will take less than 10 minutes. The questionnaire will ask you about the experience you had on this website.

Potential Risks and Discomforts

There are no risks above those generally encountered on the internet anticipated from participating in this study.

Potential Benefits

There are no direct benefits from participating in this research. We hope that, in the future, other people might benefit from this study through improved visualizations in tourism recommendation systems.

Confidentiality

Any potential loss of confidentiality will be minimized by collecting study data anonymously and storing any research data on secure servers. Once we finish this project, we will anonymize all data for permanent storage and archival and delete any non-anonymized data within 12 months. If we write a report or article about this research project, your identity will be protected to the maximum extent possible. Your information may be shared with governmental authorities if you or someone else is in danger or if we are required to do so by law.

There is no compensation for participating in this study.
